How to use it

  1. Download the PDF in your paper size and print both pages.
  2. Clip each card to a clipboard or a piece of cardboard so it’s easy to hold in the car.
  3. Mark each square when you spot it. Five in a row wins.

Younger kids who can’t read yet can play with a grown-up reading the squares aloud. For more ideas for the car, see our list of 25 screen-free road trip activities for kids.

Frequently asked questions

How do you play road trip bingo?

Give each player a card. When someone spots something on their card out the window, they mark that square. The first player to mark five squares in a row, across, down or diagonally, wins. The middle square is free.

Can I reuse the bingo cards?

Yes. Slip each card into a clear sheet protector and mark the squares with a dry-erase marker, then wipe it clean for the next game. You can also print a fresh copy any time.

Why are there two different cards?

Two cards with different squares make the game fairer for siblings, because each player is looking for different things. You can also save the second card for the drive home.
